The Register of Associations is the official regulatory body overseeing the nonprofit sector in Jordan. It operates under the Ministry of Social Development in accordance with Associations Law No. (51) of 2008 and its amendments. The Register's Board of Directors, chaired by the Minister of Social Development, includes representatives from relevant ministries and the charitable and voluntary sector. It also manages the Associations Support Fund based on transparent and fair criteria.

The Register of Associations is part of the Advisory Council of the Nazaha Project and attends its meetings as an observer, reinforcing governance and transparency in the nonprofit sector.
